Returns & Refunds

As per the standard Returns & Refund policy set out in UK Law, you, the customer, can cancel a contract and return unopened items within 14 days from receiving the goods. This means that for an order placed on the 1st January, and delivered to you on the 10th January, you can cancel the order any time up until the 24th January. After this point, the goods cannot be returned for a refund unless explicit exceptional circumstances are met.

Should you wish to cancel an order, you must do so by emailing orders@thedraughtsmanalehouse.co.uk with the wording "cancel order" as the subject line. The email must include your unique order number, full name and reasons for wanting to cancel the order. We will correspond with you via email and the cancellation request will be effective from the date you send us notice of cancellation, not the date you receive our email correspondence to the request.

Should the reason for cancellation be deemed acceptable, we will refund you the price you paid for the product(s) minus the standard £3.99 delivery fee, once we have receipt of the goods. This fee will also not be refunded on orders that qualified for the free delivery service. Your refund will be issued to you using the same method used for initial payment of the service.

Goods must be returned to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days after the day on which you let us know that you wish to cancel the contract. The product must be returned to us at the below address. Should you choose to ship this via courier, you will be liable for any costs incurred for shipping.
